Who we are
Seercy is operated by Spike Labs, Inc. (“Spike Labs,” “we,” “us”), a Delaware corporation. This policy explains what personal information the Seercy mobile app and website collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have a question, email support@spikelabsinc.com.
What we collect
We try to keep this list short, but here’s the full set:
- Account information. When you sign in we receive your name, email, and authentication identifier from Clerk, our authentication provider. If you sign in with Google or Apple, those services share basic profile fields with us.
- Onboarding responses. Birth date, time, and location (if you provide them), tone preferences, focus areas, and a daily reading time. This drives your chart and the rituals we offer; we do not echo it back into chat or share it outside the providers below.
- Content you create. Journal entries, chat messages with the assistant, saved readings, and reflections.
- Subscription state. If you start a subscription we store the plan, expiration, and billing platform. RevenueCat manages the actual purchase token; Stripe processes web payments.
- Push tokens. If you opt into notifications we store the Apple, Google, or web push token for your device so we can deliver daily readings and reminders.
- Device and platform data. App version, OS version, anonymized event analytics, crash logs, locale.
How we use it
- Generate your daily reading, tarot spreads, and chart reflections.
- Authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- Send the notifications you opt into and the daily reading at the time you set.
- Diagnose crashes, improve reliability, and understand which features are useful enough to keep.
- Communicate with you about your account or material changes to the service.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your content to train third-party AI models without your explicit opt-in.
Who we share it with
Seercy uses a small set of subprocessors to operate:
- Clerk — authentication, sign-in with Google and Apple, account management.
- RevenueCat — subscription state, entitlement tracking, and the web checkout flow.
- Stripe — processes web payments when you subscribe through the website.
- AWS — backend hosting and database storage.
- OpenAI, Anthropic, and other LLM providers — language model inference for readings and chat. We use zero-retention enterprise terms where the provider offers them.
- Apple Push Notifications and Firebase Cloud Messaging — to deliver mobile push.
- PostHog — anonymized product analytics.
- Sentry — crash and error reporting.
We share information with these providers only as needed for them to provide their service to us. We do not share with advertisers.
Data retention and deletion
We retain your account information and content while your account is active. You can delete your account from the app or from seercy.com/delete-account. Deletion removes your personal data from our systems within 30 days, except where we’re required to retain records for legal or accounting reasons. If you have a paid web subscription, deletion cancels it on the same request.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export, or delete your data by emailing support@spikelabsinc.com. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under the GDPR (EU/UK), the UK GDPR, the CCPA/CPRA (California), or other state privacy laws. We will not retaliate if you exercise them.
Children
Seercy is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. In jurisdictions where the age threshold is higher (e.g. 16 under the GDPR), we apply that threshold. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use industry-standard safeguards: TLS in transit, encryption at rest for sensitive fields, scoped OAuth tokens, and least-privilege access controls. No system is perfectly secure; we will tell you promptly if a breach affects your data.
International transfers
Seercy is operated from the United States. If you use the service from outside the U.S., your data will be transferred to and processed in the U.S. and other jurisdictions where our providers operate, with appropriate safeguards.
Changes to this policy
We’ll post changes here and update the “Last updated” date. For material changes we’ll notify you in-app or by email before they take effect.
